Our Mission
To cultivate a grace-filled community of good works, holistic wellness and deep belonging.
We are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. (Ephesians 2:10)
At The Shine Community, we are each God’s workmanship — created with purpose, and called to good works prepared for us in advance. This grace-filled belief shapes everything we do, as we walk alongside neurodivergent young adults in community, growth, and holistic wellness.
This wholeness comes to life through Work, Play, and Belong — building strength and independence through meaningful work, discovering joy through play, and experiencing deep belonging as we serve one another and shine in our communities together.
Our Vision
We envision a world where all neurodivergent adults will flourish and shine.
Let your light shine before others so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. (Matthew 5:16)
We envision a world where every neurodivergent adult is truly known, valued, and empowered to flourish and shine. As each person’s light shines before others, their gifts, growth, and good works reflect glory back to the Father — a light too meaningful to be hidden.
This vision comes to life through community, advocacy, and holistic support for members and their families. As TSC members shine in their communities — through work, creativity, and connection — the world catches a glimpse of the flourishing future we’re working toward, together.
